Founded in 1967 by Nick Schneider, Schneider's Manufacturing Co., Inc. has remained one of the oldest family owned and operated machine shops in the San Fernando Valley. Many aerospace companies turn to SMCI for manufacturing of products that require great precision and meet their rigid requirements for quality. SMCI is known for finding ways to get the job done, no matter how difficult. SMCI's founder, Nick Schneider, built a foundation of consistently strengthening our rigorous standard of on-time delivery and reliable quality which has been passed down to his son and current President Tom Schneider. Tom is committed to a legacy he plans to strengthen and build upon for many years to come.
Schneider's Manufacturing Co., Inc.'s quality standards comply with AS9100, ISO 9001, ITAR registration and DFAR compliance requirements related to aerospace.
We own our 18,000 sqft facility which includes 14,400 sqft of Production space, 2,000 sqft of Office space, 1,000 sqft Tool Crib and Stock area, and 600 sqft for Inspection.
We use a variety of machines and tools including EDM, CNC Lathes, CNC Mills, Cylindrical Grinders, Manual Lathe, Manual Mills, Gear Cutting Machines, Saws, Honing Equipment and Surface Grinders. Click here for a complete list of our equipment.
We use the Shop Floor software JobBOSS2 as well as the latest version of Virtual Gibbs CAD/CAM programming software capable of 3D modeling, 5-axis programming and importing CAD/CAM files from outside sources.
